Night Life
First Place for the Night

First Place for the Night

Our first stop will be a place where we are going to eat and of course, have some cocktails. Everybody knows that the perfect start of the night includes the perfect meal with the perfect drink. The place is called Babett and it is on the ground floor of Hotel G Yangon. It works every day from 11 AM to 10 PM. Cozy atmosphere with indoor and outdoor sitting. Delicious food at reasonable prices with super friendly staff. For a price of 35000 MMK, which is around 20 Euros, you can enjoy a great combination of Asian and international kitchen and modern cocktails. My recommendation is the Lobster Risotto and Mai Tai cocktail!

Next Stop Rooftop Bar that will blow your mind

So, we ate, our stomachs are full and happy. We move on to the next place. The famous ATLAS Rooftop Bar & Lounge. I’m sure I’m not the only one who absolutely adores rooftop bars with a marvellous view of the city lights below. It is located on the 12th floor and it’s a bit pricy, but cocktails are out of this world. If you are lucky enough, especially on the weekends, you can attend an event with a DJ or a band or even a tango dancing night. It’s the perfect place to have a drink, even by yourself, and meet local people who can give you great advice on where to go next. I highly recommend the Pegu Club cocktail. Gin, sugar, orange liqueur, and a touch of lime – choice for a true gentleman. And for the beautiful ladies, I recommend the Smasher of Smash cocktail- Gin, Campari, Vermouth. Simple but it really tastes like heaven. Don’t be late, because the place works until 11 PM every day of the week.

Lets Party

We are ready to go somewhere, where we can give our last saved energy to the DANCE. Yangon is famous for its nightclubs, not only in Myanmar but in all of Asia. Fuse, Pioneer, Level 2, The Vibe, Club Pyrite, The Maze are among the best.

  • Fuse is for sure Yangon’s most famous club. It’s a really big and modern venue, with working hours from 9:30 PM to 3 AM and until 4 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. It has a different music genre on the different days of the week. Very often they have international house DJs. All ages are welcome. There is a dress code that you must keep in mind. They have strict rules, for example, no sandals or shorts! So be sure to check your clothing before you go out of your hotel room!
  • Pioneer Club, the place where most of the young people gather. Very nice atmosphere, amazing sound system, energetic dance floor. Works every day from 9 PM to 4 AM.
  • Club Level 2 is open only during the weekend from 10 PM to 4 AM. Local people say that this is the club with the best visuals and lights. Very often they also have a Hip-Hop night and freestyle battles.
  • The Vibe’s a legendary whiskey bar, famous for its New Year’s Eve parties. Works from 8 PM to 4 AM. You can smoke shisha and enjoy the comfy sofas. My advice is to be polite with the bouncers because they can be a little rough sometimes.
  • Club Pyrite is the one and only, which stays open after everything else closes. Working hours from 10 PM to 6 AM in the morning, only on Sundays until 3 AM, you can have extra 3 hours of partying.
  • Club The Maze is my absolute favourite and my personal recommendation for you. Working hours from 9:30 PM to 4 AM. It has the best sound system and the lights are on point. A little bit more modern, preferred mostly by the Europeans. It just has everything you need to have the perfect night, and maybe to meet somebody special, who will change your life forever. I wish you big luck on that!

Before we say bye we take a look

I just want to say that recently a lot happened in Myanmar. And the future of the country is uncertain. So, please, if you decide to visit this beautiful country, just be extra careful. Give love and receive positive energy. That will work just fine.
